Ahmet Kasumi

Mr. Kasumi is an attorney at law licensed by the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates (KCA) with long experience in the field of rule of law in general and justice sector in particular. Before being admitted to the Bar, Mr. Kasumi has served as a lawyer in several public organizations and private companies. Mr. Kasumi has over 15 years of experience in commercial and corporate affairs. Mr. Kasumi has established and led for four years the Permanent Court of Commercial Arbitration at the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, as the only institution established by law to resolve disputes alternatively. Mr. Kasumi holds a master’s degree in European law from the University of Leuven (Belgium). Mr. Kasumi is fluent in English and Serbo-Croatian.
Robert Muharremi
Associated Partner
Robert Muharremi has graduated in law at the Universität des Saarlandes, Germany, and he has obtained a Ph.D. from the Universität des Saarlandes, Germany, in law. He has also earned a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management at the University of London/SOAS. Robert has provided legal and policy advice to several government institutions in Kosovo, including the Office of the Prime Minister, the Assembly of Kosovo, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Health. He has also worked as a consultant for different foreign and international organizations, such as USAID, EU, UN, GIZ, DFID, UNDP. During his career, Robert has participated in the development and drafting of legislation in areas including public-private partnerships and concessions, property, mining, arbitration, and foreign investments. He has also assisted in the establishment and functioning of various Kosovo institutions, such as the Secretariat of the Assembly of Kosovo, the Kosovo Security Council and the Constitutional Court of Kosovo. He has published in various academic journals on legal and public policy topics. He is a member of the International Law Association and an Associate with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London.
Medine Millaku
Legal Associate
Medina Millaku has a Diploma in Law Studies from the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”. She is a scholarship holder of the University of Prishtina for the high success achieved during academic years. She has a backround with many legal commitments during her studies. Prior to joining the team she was assistant of the Disciplinary Prosecutor office at Kosovo Bar Association and at the same time Ms.Millaku has been engaged by National center for state courts (NCSC)- “Demand for Justice” in several projects related to KBA. She has also worked as a mentor and trainer in various projects and activities organized or supported by different international and national organizations, such as OSCE, USAID, KOPF etc. Lately, she represented Kosovo in the 66th Session of the HNMUN Harvard University Conference in Boston, USA.
